The Library of the Sky Palace. A mystical place. Well, not really. This is just my collection of stories, poems, and whatever else I happen to have lying around. If anyone wants me to archive their stories, I'd be happy to do so.

NEW! Title: Heavenfire
Status: In Progress
Genre: Dark Fantasy
Rating: PG-13 [violence, language, slash]
Special Notes: The first in the Cethien series. Also: SLASH. Don't know what that means? Don't read. Simple, ne?
Summary: Ryuven of Issi didn't ask for anything that happened to him during the gang wars. All he wants is to put the past behind him. That's when he meets Pyrian, and suddenly he's in the past again, in a darker world he remembers all too well. Pyrian may or may not be the sixth god of Cethien, but that's irrelevant. The fact is, whatever he wants, he gets - but never in precisely the way he wants it. It's up to Ryuven to save himself and Pyrian from the slaughter they both know is coming - but neither of them ever expected to fall in love. And, because this is Cethien, after all, add in a healthy dose of carnivorous unicorns, vampire sheep, and extremely hyper flowers.

NEW! Title: The Unchosen One
Status: Pending
Genre: Fantasy/Humor
Rating: PG-13 [violence, language]
Special Notes: The second in the Cethien series.
Summary: Ryuven isn't the Chosen One of the fragmented realm of Ceseli. In fact, he's never even been to Ceseli before. But when a series of strange circumstances land him in a desperate kingdom with a vaguely-magical sword just when the real Chosen One sinks into a coma, the official Mentor, Fingolfin, appoints him Chosen One until further notice. Never mind that Ryuven is a mathematician with a severe phobia of females. Never mind that his chronology is thoroughly screwed up. And never mind that he doesn't want to be the Chosen One, he just wants to go home. He's got to make everyone believe that he is the Chosen One. Just one problem...what exactly does a Chosen One do?

Oh, he's powerful, but in a very bad way. Watch him cause things to spontaneously combust. Watch him get high on pixie sticks. Watch him...complain about exams? All while trying to save the world, with the help of Susan/Leila/Claire (who just can't decide on a name), Justin (unhappily nicknamed Clock Boy), Emily (who may or may not be crazy, depending on how you look at it), and Lyle (gifted at math whether he likes it or not).

Title: Strength of the Spirit Chronicles
Status: Series In Progress
Genre: Fantasy, along with everything but the kitchen sink
Rating: PG-13 [fantasy-style violence, language, character death]
Summary: Such a huge project, it gets its own page. The series follows Talarine Merikk, mage-in-training in the land of Khammiron, and the only person powerful enough to deal with the terrors that face her land, including the Dark Queen Cetaena, flawed government, wildfires, war, and, again, everything but the kitchen sink. Only with the help of her teacher, Nuremil, and her friends will Tala be able to handle it all, and even then she might not survive. Linguist, healer, mage...it's a tough life, especially when everyone expects you to be a hero, as well. Note: this series is the home of Naodrith, my namesake.

The Jackson siblings first of all. They have a simple plan: survive until Halloween nightfall, and they have a chance to kill the creature and the other denizens of the night. Title: That New Story Without A Humorous Abbreviation
Status: In Progress
Genre: Fantasy
Rating: PG-13 [violence, language, mild sexual references]
Summary: The land of the Sanpong is in danger. The creatures of the Yom'dai Forest are preparing a final attempt to escape from the approaching darkness - which means, of course, entering the humans' land and slaughtering them all. A runaway scribe, a vampire, a rebellious magician, a snake-man hybrid, an archer, and the soon-to-be assassinated heir to the throne and the priesthood must unite, because without one another, all their plans will fall apart. Sadly, their motives are often at cross-purposes. If they don't kill each other, it's possible that they'll be able to stop the darkness and make everything go back to what passes for normal among the Sanpong. But it's not likely. ((Lookit me, I found a plot! More or less.))

Title: The Cry of the Woefully Oppressed
Status: Pending
Genre: General
Rating: PG [violence, mild language]
Summary: In Catherine's neighborhood, all the kids play a Game, almost all the time. Sometimes it's war, sometimes a fantasy, and once in a while it somehow becomes a power struggle between the boys and the girls. But hey, they enjoy it, and everything is going great...until a kidnapper apparently shows up in town, and they're forbidden to play after dark until he's caught. Horrified (no playing on summer nights?), the kids decide that this injust decree has just earned the adults a place in the Evil Empire - and Catherine's father is the Evil Overlord. Their plot to overthrow him sends the Game soaring to new and dangerous levels. Hey, like they say, it's all fun and games...
Until someone gets hurt.

Title: Sandglass
Status: Pending
Genre: Action
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Sandglass. It's the name on everyone's lips, the hot new virtual reality game. It's all the rage in Eurasia, and now America has it, and all the kids are raving. One hundred levels, dangerous and different and fun. The problem is that no one ever wins. Well, until Lexi and Alec start playing.
They're siblings, and they hate each other, and hate their parents, and have no social lives outside the game. In other words, typical teenagers. Their teams are rivals, but they're both winning, with only ten levels until the conclusive battle. But now they're in danger. There's a bug in the system that could kill those using it, if they die in the game during the last ten levels. Unfortunately, the peril is discovered while Lexi and Alec are playing, and they can't get out without tremendous risk to their health. Someone must be sent to protect them. And who better to keep Lexi and Alec safe until they win than their parents? After all, John is a top computer programmer who understands the logic of these games, and Calista is an expert on the mythology that the game employs. So, they're sent into the game with a simple mission: keep their children from dying until they win the game, the only safe way to exit.
Sounds easy. But Sandglass isn't your average game, the myth monsters don't behave like they should, and with every level the danger increases. In the end, it's not whether you win or lose.
Oh, wait. Yes it is.
